Sentinel Escape (Intro To Games Design)


Overview

Sentinel Escape which was part of my intro to games design and is a playable short 5-6 minute 3D Platformer Puzzle Level. The goal of the level is to get to the end of the level through a variety of different puzzles.

You play as a Sentinel mechanic that is stuck on a ship which is being attacked and is about to be destroyed and you must escape it progressing through puzzles to escape the ship.

Project Goals

  • Create a small playable level using the “sentinel framework” template provided lasting between 5 – 6 minutes
  • Display skills in Level design , interactive puzzles, pacing
  • Decorate the level using a combination of assets and effective game affordances to communicate with the player
